UK document attestation for Qatar
Attestation of UK degrees, birth and marriage certificates, police certificates and company documents for use in Qatar, from solicitor certification and FCDO apostille to the Embassy of Qatar in London and MOFA in Doha.
UK documents
The UK is part of the Apostille Convention, but Qatar is not, so UK documents need both an FCDO apostille and Qatar Embassy legalisation.
For most countries, an apostille from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) is the final step. Qatar is not a member of the Hague Apostille Convention, so after the apostille the document goes to the Embassy of Qatar in London, and then to MOFA in Doha for the final attestation.
The Qatar Embassy in London has its own strict rules, especially for degrees. We check your documents against them first, so nothing is sent back.
